Admissions Process
Mzuzu International Academy is committed to providing students with a learning environment best suited to meet their individual needs. STEP 2
Families looking to enrol in Reception (beginning at 4 years) – Year 11 need to send an email to admissions@mzuzuacademy.org stating their interest or fill out an inquiry form on our website at https://miasms.mzuzuacademy.org/admission-inquiry/ . The email must include the name of the child and what year you are looking to enrol them.
STEP 3
Fill out an application form which will be sent to you. Accompanying the application form should be a transfer letter, copy of a Birth Certificate or any document to verify DOB and a current school report from previous school.
STEP 4
A communication from the school with a date and time of Entrance Assessment, you will be required to pay the assessment fee on the day of the Assessment. Note that MIA sets assessment dates in Lilongwe and Blantyre for families who want to join us at the beginning of the academic year. You can keep a lookout on our website and social media pages for the specific dates.
STEP 5
The school will send results and any other recommendations within 5 days of assessment. This is followed by payment of registration fees and purchasing of uniform and other necessities. Please note that the school requires at least 50% of fees paid before the start of the term.
